For over 20 years, Liberty Steel Structures have been providing a comprehensive, trouble-free package to cover projects from design to completion.
Established in 1999 by family members Nigel and Greg Williams, we have pioneered our own unique construction methods, which enable us to build many different shapes and sizes of cold rolled steel buildings.
Originally working under the banner of Liberty Livestock Systems Ltd,
we have supplied and installed over 700 buildings throughout the UK and overseas.
In 2008, we joined the growing network of Capital Steel Distributors and quickly established Liberty Steel Structures as one of the leading suppliers and installers of portal frame steel buildings.
More recently we have moved our business into the hot rolled steel buildings market and since then, we have gone from strength to strength involving ourselves in some very prestigious projects and design packages.
If you need a building, we have the solution!
Cold Rolled Option
Liberty Steel Structures are suppliers and erectors of cold rolled steel portal frame buildings. This type of structure has a high tensile strength coupled with durability – and offers a versatile package, lighter than that of our hot-rolled steel competitors.
The combination of cold rolled steel and the portal frame method allows us to install a relatively small steel section which can span bigger distances. The associated reduction in weight allows us to employ innovative construction methods – whilst reducing the cost of materials.
This means that, for many of our projects, there is no need for expensive lifting equipment. This in turn reduces construction times and costs to our clients, whilst delivering a higher build quality.
The environmental impact is cleaner and greener. Cold rolled steel does not have to be sent through blast furnaces at 1700 deg C – and because its sections are lighter, we can transport more, with fewer journeys.
With compact loads and lightweight frames, our suppliers, Steadmans, can load larger building packages per journey. This reduces the cost, both to the environment – and to our clients.
